Did you know that March is National Craft Month!? What are you doing to celebrate? I bet you have big plans to dust off your metal stamps and make some jewelry. We certainly love that idea, but how about challenging yourself to a new craft? Knitting? Crocheting? Quilting? Woodworking? A new jewelry technique? Are you up to the challenge?
We would like to help get you started with a GIVEAWAY!
The fantastic folks at Craftsy have given me coupons to give to three lucky winners so they can hop on Craftsy.com and take any class for FREE!!
Here is how to enter:

I am accepting the Craft Month challenge and taking up a new craft myself. This is a craft I swore I would never do -- knitting! Let me first say that I don't have anything against knitting. In fact, quite the opposite. I LOVE the thought of it -- it's relaxing, productive, you get to play with color -- but my lack of time has kept me from starting. Ok, let's get real here, it's my my fear of yarn hoarding that has kept me from starting! I know how I am, I will need to own every yarn I see! Ha!
Well, procrastinate-no-more, I am headed to Craftsy.com to watch one of their tons of knitting classes. Craftsy is the perfect place to learn because I can do it in my own time! Their classes are easy to follow, plus I can ask questions and get prompt answers from my instructor and the community. I also have a mad love for the Craftsy mission, culture, and business ethic.
How do I know so much about them? I am one of their instructors! I teach the class Make Your Own Wirework Findings on Craftsy.com. I really do love this company. I would never promote, learn from, or teach for a company that I didn't believe in. Obviously I believe in online education; I love what we are doing here at Beaducation.com and I love the direction Craftsy has taken with their online classes. Yay for companies that have made it easier to be creative and learn from the comfort of your home!

I would like to learn more about stamped jewelry
I would love to learn how to use wire in my jewelry making. I am somewhat intimidated! Help! (smile).
I would love to take the settings for every shape with Robert Dancing as the preview is very inspiring and I think it will help me with my jewelry making skills. Fingers crossedxx!
I would like to learn more about working with polymer clay or metal work. So many choices.....so little time! :)
I would like to learn more metal work incorporating my glass beads.
Would love to learn to make stamped jewelry
I would love to win to learn how to make earrings I have been intimidated to make them
I've only stated 3 of the 8 Craftsy classes I bought over President's Day weekend and have already learned several new techniques and projects in wire working. I can't wait to get to them all! The instructors make sure to show you step-by-step how to do things the right way. I've seen other DVD's where the instructor is full of themselves and only partially show you what they're doing as if they're afraid you might "steal" their techniques. Sarah Thompson, Debora Mauser, and especially Sherilyn Miller are GREAT! After these classes, I would love to learn how to set stones.
I love craftsy and beaduaction. Would love to learn metal enameling as well as advanced metalsmithing.
I would love to learn more about soldering for adding small elements to my stamped designs! :)
I would love to learn about soldering and taken my metal stamped creations to the next level!
wanna brush up on wire skillz
I want to improve on my stone setting skills and I'm also interested in PMC.
I would like to learn how to make Lampwork Beads!
I would like to learn wire wrapping and how to use power tools.
I really, really, really want to learn how to bezel-set unusual stones of various unusual shapes! That would be da BOMB! :)
Would love to start knitting...or crocheting...or even tatting! I love Craftsy classes - even enrolled in the tatting one, but with a rambunctious 4 year old running around, knitting or crochet needles are a dangerous thing. Maybe if they have an arm knitting one...then both my son and I can do it together..(or make the biggest knot you've ever seen)
I would love to expand my skills with metal clay.
I want to learn about enameling and fold forming. I've been dabbling in it but I need more "training"!
Interested in learning more about patinas.
I am very interested in silversmithing and jewelry creation.
I want to try prong setting or any metal working jewelry class.
I would love to expand my jewelry making by learning about soldering!
Knitting or crocheting!
I would totally love to further my metalsmithing techniques with that bezel setting class or take Barbara's advanced enameling class. I originally learned from Barbara in her shop in FL and she's amazing!
The classes from the featured artist/teacher here look great, but I would like to get better at wire wrapping techniques (I'm an utter failure at wire wrapping - can't even make wire loops the same size two times in a row.). Wire Wrapped briolettes are beyond me. *sigh*
I really need to learn crochet and knitting, you know, for the zombie apocalypse.
I am so attracted to Parchment. It is so delicate and intricate. It looks like lovely lace. So I want to learn the art of Parchment.
I've been wanting to do some fiber art for the longest time but jumping in to try to make an art quilt is really intimidating and so I would love to try some fabric embellishment.... the Stupendous Stitching class seems like a great place to start!!
I do some metalsmithing but foldforming or granulation would be something new to try also. Thanks so much for the opportunity to try new things!
A class on metal forming and fabrication would be wonderful. I have started on some techniques but wanting to learn more!
Would love to learn metal forming. Just learning how to make jewelry and this seems like something that would be so cool to learn.

I would like to learn metal stamping and wire wrapping.
I currently make jewelry (hand stamped jewelry and also beaded), but I would LOVE to learn more about photography!! It's really been the downfall of my business, because my poor image quality means less sales. I would enjoy learning photography for personal reasons as well!
I'm trying to learn how to quilt. I've done a few pieces with help from a friend, but I'd like to learn how to do more.
I am new to beadwork and I have had to slow my roll because I want to do it all! But on a lighter note I want learn metalwork and how to incorporate it into my beadwork. I look forward to being in a class with some of you!
I would love to continue improving with Metal Smithing, but I also love the free classes on Craftsy!
I love Craftsy! So many things I still want to learn. I think stone setting or Metal Fabrication. That would be exciting and I can use some FIRE! Thanks Everyone
I think it would be easier for us all if I just answered what I was not interested in learning next. But, I will narrow it down to a general media. Metal, gemstones, hot flames. I really want to start working more with metal soon in all different ways. Craftsy has a few classes that I have been dying to take. So, who knows, this might just be my lucky chance.
The reason why I want to work with metals so much is because that is what is calling my name right now, my whole being and essence is being called by all different types of stones and metals. And, that just fuels me and keeps me healthy.
I love trying new ways of making jewelry: wire weaving, metal smithing, bezel setting, art clay, soldering...
Thanks, Els from Bruges (Belgium)
I LOVE Chain Maille and I am very interested in adding Wire Jewelry to my creations! I am just starting my at home jewelry business and I want to fly!!!

Make Your Own Wirework Findings is the class I would like to take! That way the jewelry I make would be 100% made by me!!!
I would love to learn more silversmithing techniques!
Why? Because I love it :)
I would love to learn about wire working especially since I want to make wire and cabochons pendants.
I would like to try stamping into metal. I want to make charms to use in my jewelry.
I would love to try making some filagree charms.
I am very interested in beading and designing and creating my own jewelry. I would also like to learn more about Quilling and Tatting. A couple of old fashioned crafts. Would you have classes for these crafts?
