Soldering Design Idea, featuring Cocktail Ring Beaducation Style

We are excited to celebrate the final week of Craft Month featuring SOLDERING, the hottest trend in jewelry making! Soldering is a way to take your designs to the next level. If you're unfamiliar with the technique take a look at our 13 Soldering Design Ideas to start getting inspired to take the leap! is packed full of education to get you rolling! We have our FREE Simple Soldered Pendant class. This 20 minute class will teach you the ins and outs of a beginner level project.

If you really want to dive in, check out the online class Introduction to Soldering. Once you have a foundation, you can expand to more advanced projects like Soldered Rim Pendant. Our class Cocktail Ring -  Beaducation Style combines two free online classes -- Folded Flower and Stamping on Rings -- and basic soldering to make this awesome statement piece.

Two of our talented instructors, Joe Silvera and Kate Richbourg, have written wonderful beginner-level soldering books: Simple Soldering and Soldering Made Simple. These are great to keep at your workspace to reference when you find yourself in a pickle (no pun intended!).

Now, if you have been interested in soldering but you're intimidated by the torch (everyone is in the beginning) make sure to watch both of Joe Silvera's FREE classes -- Butane Torch Safety and Setting up for Soldering at Home. These classes will set your mind at ease when it comes to working with a flame.

Last, but definitely not least, our Soldering Starter Kit has almost everything you need to get started: Kiln Brick, Max Flame Torch, Cool Cup with Tweezer, Safety Glasses, Solder Pick, Solder Paste and Penny Brite.

Join us in our favorite new craft addiction, it's a blast! And don't forget to enter our soldering giveaway!
