NEW FREE CLASS! Riveting with Nail Head Rivets

At long last! Beaducation now has a FREE class that is all about riveting. Specifically, Riveting with Nail Head Rivets. You would be surprised at how many questions we get about riveting. It is high time we educate everyone on the technique!

Riveting is surprisingly simple, and the best part is that you don't need a lot of tools and supplies to do it. No scary torches! Riveting is a cold connection technique used to connect two or more pieces of metal together. This class features riveting with Nail Head Rivets specifically. Once you learn how to do it, a whole new world will open up for your jewelry. You'll look at different sizes of blanks in a whole new way, and don't forget about our Decorative Rivets! The same technique applies to working with them.

Aisha Formanski teaches this 24 minute class that will show you everything you need to know. From creating the rivet holes to trimming the rivet wire to using the riveting hammer, you'll be connecting metal in no time. Aisha shares a tip about how to ensure you trim your wire to the appropriate length -- something so simple, yet I never would have thought of it!

Have you tried riveting yet? Do you have any tips to share?
