New Year, New Technique!

Did you set a goal to learn a new jewelry making technique this year? Beaducation can help you achieve that goal! With over 100 online classes (43 are free!), we have something for everyone.

If you are an avid beader and want to add metal into your jewelry, you've come to the right place. Beaducation founder Lisa Niven Kelly wrote the book (literally!) about stamping on metal. You can also watch her free class to see her in action. This trend continues to be hot and will allow you to personalize your jewelry with your own sentiments, fun fonts, and design stamps that tell a story. We have 14 Metal Stamping projects to choose from that will build your confidence and skills.

Interested in honing your wirework skills? We've got classes for that, too! Start by learning how to Coil Wire on a Drill. Making Your Own Jump Rings is a logical next step from there. Move on to Basic Loops and you're all set for more advanced wirework projects. Learning these basic techniques from our FREE classes will set you up for success!

If you're ready to kick things up a notch, let's start playing with fire. SOLDERING! We've got a Soldering Starter Kit and free classes to get you acclimated: Butane Torch Safety, Setting Up for Soldering At Home, and Simple Soldered Pendants.

Maybe your goals include taking in-person classes from your favorite instructors. We've got you covered there, too! We are opening our doors to students for the first time for Beaducation Academy the weekend of March 16-17. Registration opens January 14. You can also find Beaducation teaching three classes at the Bead&Button Show in Milwaukee in June. Registration opens tomorrow, January 8!

So tell us, what are your 2013 goals?
