Tis the Season to Craft!

It's November 1st and if you haven't already started buying your supplies in anticipation of the holiday gifts you are going to make or for your holiday customers, then now's the time!

To kick off the holiday crafting season, we just turned on our 'Holidays' Design Idea Carrousel. To the left, you see Education Team member, Aisha Formanski's 'Holiday Gift Tag n Pendant' idea. Aisha chose a Thick Copper Plated Circle, so she could stamp on both sides. One side says 'Joy,' and the other is a message to her gift recipient. What a cute idea, eh? A friend will receive this on her package, but then be able to wear it as a pendant for the holidays.

We also have some great ornament ideas - two using Anodized Aluminum Sheet. This Christmas tree to the right has been cut with our French Shears and filed down. I riveted some more shear-cut Anodized Aluminum balls with our new Nickel Plated Snap Rivets (Crystal Snap Rivets would look great too) and then used our Engraver Tool Set to write a message.

The important thing to remember when making holiday gifts, is that there is no right or wrong product to use. If you had your heart set on using Brass 1/2" Circles, but find them sold out then try using Brass 3/4" Circles.

It is always best to remember that you probably got into crafting because you ARE crafty. You can make it work with a plethora of product. Here at Beaducation, we want you to try and get your products early and we are here to help you find substitutions if you don't see what you need. We know we can often control our stock, but we can never control the postal service during the holidays. So don't delay! Start gettin' your craft on now! And check back because more holiday designs are being posted everyday.
