New FREE Class...Polishing with Silicone Discs!

We have a new FREE class for your polishing pleasure. Rev up your engines, instructor Lisa Claxton makes polishing a breeze with Silicone Polishing Wheels and a rotary tool.
FREE: Polishing with Silicone Discs is the name and shining metal is the game. The silicone discs mount on a Mini Screw Mandrel Shank which is then inserted into a rotary tool. For this class, Lisa uses our Motorized Bead Reamer, but you can use a Foredom Flex Shaft instead.

The wheels come in packs of four, two knife edge and two square edge. They are extra-fine grit and have the silicone carbide impregnated into the wheel so there is no need to add any additional compound to the wheel.

You'll be amazed at how quickly and easily they polish up metal after oxidation. I tried polishing metal antiqued with Liver of Sulfur, Silver Black and Sharpie marker and they all shined up perfectly!

Intrigued? We hope so. Take a look at the preview to learn more about the class:

We think you'll love this addition to your polishing tool collection. It's the perfect way to polish class projects that involve wire weaving like The Hug Ring, Ionic Column Earrings and Mermaid Braid Bracelet. But don't stop there. It's also great for metal worked pieces like Simple Soldered Pendants, Soldered Rings and Bezels and Twisted, Knotted and Fused.

Try it out and let us know what you think. Happy polishing!

I'll have to check out that class. I've got some discs like this for my dremel and was never sure what to do with them. Thanks for the post.

Would this work on light scratches, as you would see in raw silver discs?
