National Craft Month Giveaway Week #2

****CONTEST IS CLOSED****
We'll announce a winner shortly. Winner here!

Just wanted to add a big thanks to all who posted comments...and especially those who took the time out to write poetry extolling the virtues of the power punch pliers. Our customers are the best! Scroll down in the comments to read some of the fine poetry by Rosalyn and Cicidee.

This week's giveaway comes to you courtesy of our Inventory Department. Take it away gang!
Who doesn’t love a super hero? Faster than uh...whatever! Able to leap ummm...some stuff! Super is just better than the alternative, and who better to separate the super from the just great than the folks here in inventory? We’ve seen it all (and counted it, and packaged it). If you bought it here, chances are we had our hands on it. Don’t worry, we’re very clean.
Imagine the pliers in a flowing red cape...
So out of all the fun products here at Beaducation, which is the most super! The answer undoubtedly has to be the Power Punch Pliers. From its square jutting chin to its swooping blue handles, to the way it can punch through just about anything, it’s no wonder this is one of our most popular tools. Heck, even the name sounds super! Disguised as its mild mannered alter ego, regular Punch Pliers, it waits patiently until it hears a cry of distress like, “I need a hole big enough to put this knotted chain through,” or, “What if I want to make a hole in a nickel?”. Quick as a flash, it springs from its case having changed into just the right tool for the job!

Let us know why you think the Power Punch Pliers is so super and you just might be able to take one home. No need to thank it, citizen. Well made jewelry is its only reward. For all the details on the Power Punch Pliers watch our free product video

You can earn extra chances of winning this great prize. Post a link to this blog post (not just the blog) on your blog, Facebook page, or your Twitter feed about this National Craft Month giveaway.

Let us know in a separate comment on this post. (So if you comment once you have one entry.  Then comment again for each social media link that you made for additional entries to win. One comment with all of the places you reposted, FB'ed and Twittered will just get you one entry.)

You know what to do gang! Leave a comment below and we will pick the winner on Monday.

These pliers would allow my thumb/hand to be saved and continue expanding what I stamp and wear. I've been stopped because of thickness and complexity of putting a simple hole that is the right size into a piece.

I've been eyeing these and dreaming of the day I might get to call them mine.

Oooh - I'd love to have that tool. I've had to scrap so many pieces of silver because the hole wasn't in the correct spot. I also love that it can make bigger holes that you can incorporate into the design!!! Love it!

I think its super, as it allows you the ability to do it yourself. Many times, I need help cutting, or drilling or something else that I am not strong enough for, thie would keep me from asking the hubby!! LOL

Where to begin! :) Not only would it be nice to have the different sized bigger holes, but the dots would be fun to incorporate into designs as well. It would also be fun to punch different sized holes all over in the same piece and fill them with resin, clay, etc. as part of the design. I've love the chance to play!!

Ode the the Power Punch Plier
In days long ago we did what we could
And put in a hole with a nail, hammer & wood.

Then metalsmiths demanded a solution for this,
For it was their thumb hit when the nail they did miss.

So a punch that put holes in a small piece of paper,
Was adapted to suit both the metal and maker.

Eventually there were holes round, oval and square,
But each required its own plier, as I am aware.

But now there is made a special device,
For making the metalsmith's art very nice.

One tool makes holes in various sizes,
In a pinch it might be used to decorate disguises.

To have many choices of sizes to punch,
Would be simply delightful from one Super Punch.

I'd decorate beadcaps, dangles and drops.
My fear is the punching might hardly be stopped.

So Super this Punch- surely I must have one.
Please call out my name and tell me I've won!

WOW! I have to admit, I didn't even know such a wonder of technology existed. You had me with the "Punch a hole in a nickel" statement! Who needs a Man of Steel when you can have a tool that will CONQUER steel? Or at least give it a run for its...money. ;-)
