Common questions about Metal Stamping...

This week we are tackling a few of the most common stamping questions that we get from customers. In a few days, Kate's post will talk about choosing a metal letter set and the correct size blank for your project.

For today's post, I'll be answering the question...

"What is the most popular metal letter set that you sell?"

Well, because of it's low cost, we sell a lot of the Economy sets, but our bestseller is our Kismet set. This is a custom font that I hand drew (and redrew, and tweaked, and redrew again), and people like it! By far, the lowercase Kismet set is our most popular, with the uppercase set a close second.

So let us know what stamp set is at the top of your favorites? Is it the kismet set or do you fancy another font? We enjoy hearing your feedback and most of all, love to know that you are stamping!

I absolutely love your Kismet font! I am very new to metal stamping and have not ventured past the economy letter stamps. I am trying to decide if I can justify the expense of a fancier font since I am still such a novice at stamping. I'm having a decent amount of success with stamping with the economy stamps but really prefer a nicer looking font. Decisions, decisons!

I own and LOVE the Kismet font. I have been stamping for about two years and it is a big part of my business (sissyandjack.etsy.com).

like the kismet set, but i find that i need the 1/16" or 2mm size the most. while i like a little more stylized font, many of my customers prefer the most basic font. however, i recently moved to a another city & state and the people here like a little more style and bling!
