A little give-away on a Friday afternoon... our latest Beaducation swag. Our beautiful water bottle, tape measure and pen. If you win, you'll never be thirsty, always cut your wire the correct length and be prepared when someone wants your autograph.
These can be yours, just let us know what crafty thing you are doing this weekend in the comments. I am working on my "I-am-inspired-to-bead-again" project. I think it's going to be cool. I'll share it with you next week, along with a tutorial.
Get to craftin'. I'll let you know who won by random drawing on Monday.

I am going to be working on making some fabulous jewelry this weekend (between weed pulling in the garden)!
Ok...I am proud to say I am doing my first "trunk show" tomorrow and am really excited. While I have done 2 open houses at my home I am now trying very hard to make this jewelry making a business. So....wish me luck! I think this is a pretty crafty thing to do! Thanks for the opportunity to be part of this! I LOVE BEADUCATION!!!

Since I spent Mother's Day weekend waiting for my youngest son to deploy to Afghanistan, I will be making my mom's gift this weekend. I am beading tea light covers for her!
My plan is to stamp some wire for a few bracelets this weekent!
I'm finishing a cool custom order for a dance teacher. It's sort of a charm necklace that combines stamped discs and a dance pendant I made on a scrabble tile.
This weekend I will be working on a birthday present for my brother. My idea is to take a 3"x3" copper sheet, pewter charms and silk ribbon to create a 3D tactile metal stamping scene that I would put in a wood frame.

This weekend I'll be playing with my new metal stamping things. It's a lot more addictive than I anticipated!
Thanks for having the giveaway!
This weekend I am sewing! I am going to make a crayon roll and coordinating tote for a sweet little 3 year old.
I have some 'ladybugs' crawling through my little brain!!! They say if a ladybug lands on you that it is good luck - so why not have a handcrafted copper/silver ladybug lying on your chest all day?
I am working on FINISHING up some paintings - I have a lot of half finished things going on and am hoping to complete them this weekend!
hi! new here but can't resist a random drawing! this weekend i am going to the bead show in oakland and then i am going to make a chainmail bracelet for my son's girlfriend's graduation present.
I have been wanting to start on a new sewing pattern forever and also stamp some washer necklaces. That is what I will probably do this weekend.
My crafty project this weekend is to make a new pair of earrings. I am going to do one of my favorite techniques, etch copper discs with ferric acid. Then patina and dome them. Maybe if I get adventurous, I'll try making my own ear wires out of copper wire :)
I am starting quilts for my 4 year old and soon to be born son, they'll have matching colors. I am taking a break from the jewelry this weekend.
I am going to the Maker Faire to be inspired by other whacky creators.

I will be selling my jewelry at the Trade Days market in McKinney, Tx. We got rained out today, hoping for better weather tomorrow and Sunday. Need to sell more jewelry so I can buy those metal stamping tools I have my eyes on ;)
I'm setting up at a new venue called the Market in Smyrna, Tn. I'll be stamping custom orders while I'm there. I'll just have to see what the day holds. I would love the win the water bottle and other goodies.
Excuse me but I think the first comment person should not be allowed to win, for reasons we all know! I will be stamping earrings and playing with my new texture hammer!

I'm in the mood for seed beading making a herringbone technique bracelet.
I've been making cabochons with my new microwave kiln all week (best Mother's Day present ever!).
This weekend - transforming those pieces into pretty jewelry and hairclips to give to my friends and family.
They are supportive of my insane passions, and they also inspire me to make more.
This month, I decided that I am going to "commission" myself to make something for each person that encourages me to keep this craziness going.

This weekend my crafty thing will be to make a new pair of earrings. I plan to use small copper discs, on which I'll etch an image using ferric acid. After that, I'll patina and dome the discs. I may try my hand at making my own ear wires too.
This weekend, my husband and I are going to work on getting caught up with some requests from family for stamped pendants (he stamps, I embellish his work) and also work on fabric earrings. Even though it finally stopped raining here in MI, I would rather stay inside to work on jewelry.
Have a great weekend!
I was recently inspired to create project bags with my collection of beads that I bought specifically with a project in mind. I plan on enjoying the beautiful weather and taking a few of them outside to bead while being inspired by the beauty of spring and nature!
This weekend I'm going to sit down with a new book and learn how to micromacrame... (Next week I'll hit the Maker's Faire!)
I am working on jewelry for my niece's wedding. Five bridesmaids, one bride, one mother of the bride and a pile of little hair flowers!
I'm making a beautiful beaded bracelet with a kit I purchased on Beaducation. Woohoo!
I am contemplating how to save a necklace! At one of my outdoor jewelry shows, a gust of wind knocked over my display, slamming the necklace iwth glass pendant on the concrete, breaking the pendant. The strand is intact...so I am figuring out what to add, without having to restring. (I had looped a seed bead loop through the pendant hole, instead of using a bail)
I am totally excited to get crafty this weekend with my stamps and silver wire ... needed a little kick in the pants and the idea that I could win some cool Beaducation stuff ... well that'll do it!
Thanks gals!
I have taken too long a hiatus from craftiness ... I'm busting out the beads, wire and stamps this weekend and gettin' busy. Hope I win some sweet Beaducation swag!
Pick Me! Pick Me!
I went to a bead show today and plan on playing with all my new goodies tomorrow!

I am working on a Vet Tech necklace for my sister-in-law this weekend! :) She graduates from college within the next year, and this will be a great gift for her to show off!
I just finished a get well card for my sister who was just diagnosed with breast cancer.
I finally made the soldered ring in Kate's class - with the carnellian cab. It is beautiful and I gave it to my friend. Then got carried away with fusing!! Made two knotted rings, a few toe rings, and four twisted wire rings for myself and my daughter. We painted our nails - all twenty of the them and wore our gorgeous rings! Love melting metal. ;D Oh yeah, forgot, made Lisa Claxton's spiral ring, too.
I have to move my workingspace with all my glass for beadmaking...
A bottle of water would be good....
This weekend, I packed to get ready for our move. I guess you can call that creative. Coming up with ways to get everything packed can be...interesting.
I'm working on a Growth chart for my daughters room. It's pastel colors with flowers made of felt and buttons. It's super cute so far!
