Viking Knit 2

Another great class from Iris Sandkühler. Viking Knit 2 is up and running!!

This class is the Sequel to Unsupported Viking Knit

Iris teaches how to cage glass stones in sterling silver. Perfect for a pair of earrings or dangle drops from a necklace. She also shows how to cage the stones into a Viking knit chain.

This class is intermediate level and students should have completed Unsupported Viking Knit before taking this class.

These classes are perfect for the student who wants to add a unique look to their jewelry designs, by creating unique chains and interesting accents.

Stamp set latest

Sound like the next shipment will be shipped on Wed and then another batch a few days after that. I will post here when I know more tomorrow.
thanks
Lisa

UPDATE
The stamps are being shipped to us tomorrow (Thursday). I will be speaking to my supplier in the morning to get the exact number being sent and then I will put them in inventory at 11:00 PST AM. At that time, I will send out another notification. They will not be available to purchase until 11:00PST tomorrow. Just wanted to give you an update so you can plan accordingly to get one tomorrow. If you are out and about, you can call in your order but please don't call before 11:00.

Please remember that we won't receive the stamps at our office until early next week. We are closing from the Dec 23-Jan2, but if the stamp sets come in on the 23rd or later, I will personally come in and make sure they are shipped asap! We will be getting another shipment by the end of the year and I will be sending out another notification even if it is when we are closed, so stay tuned. But those sets won't be shipped to customers until we return on the 2nd.

Next Lower Case Set batch update

I just spoke to my supplier and they are having a hard time getting in the stamp blanks. They can produce our stamps real quick once the blanks are in but their blank supplier is running a bit slow. They hope to send us another batch of stamps not this week as previously mentioned, but maybe Monday or Tuesday of next week. I will keep ya posted.
thanks
L.

"Argggg, I missed the stamp sets again!"

That is something I heard a lot today. We posted 60 sets and they sold in 38 minutes. I know some of you are super frustrated because you weren't at your computers. I know our system of "first come first served" seems to be one that can be improved upon, but let me explain why we are doing it this way.

First of all, we had NO idea that the response to these sets would be like this. I knew (and hoped) that folks would like them but had no idea that they would sell so quickly. We have discussed the idea of taking preorders or doing a lottery system...we have discussed this in great detail. I am really uncomfortable taking money for products that we don't yet have, especially if we are talking about over 200 people. And since some folks have been on the Notification List for a month or so, it seems unfair to start taking a waitlist now. At this point, we are going to stick to our current system.

There is one thing that we will be doing differently from now on. I will send out a notification a few days before we post the sets for sale. I can talk to my supplier and find out their projected shipping date and I will let you know when that is and what hour I plan on posting them. That way if you aren't at your computer, you can call in your order or have a friend go online and place your order. We will still send a notification out when we actually put them in the inventory, but at least this way you can have a heads up and can plan accordingly.

Please remember that my supplier is trying to send me 70-100 sets each week so hopefully everyone who wants one will have one in the next few weeks. They are cranking them out as fast as they can.

Believe me, we really try to be fair. We have learned from the sale of these sets and when we release future sets we might do some sort of wait list from the get go.

And speaking of future sets, we will start production soon on a lowercase plain Gothic set to match the widely produced upper case sets (like the ones we sell here). We most likely won't have those for 4-6 weeks. In the mean time, I will be designing an upper case Kismet set. We won't start production on those for at least a month.

Thanks for your patience.....hang in there,
Lisa

Next batch of Lower Case Letter Stamp Sets

UPDATE, we posted the sets and they sold out quick....hang in there, 100 are coming next week. Keep checking the blog to see when they will be posted!

Ok, vacation is over and my stamp fairies are back at it.....I have been told that around 60 sets will be shipped to me on Friday. I will be calling them Friday to confirm that and then I will add the sets to inventory around 11:00 AM Pacific Standard time. I will then send out a Product Notification to those of you on the list. If you don't get a set from this batch....DON'T WORRY, next week they will be shipping ONE HUNDRED (yes that's 100) more. And they will keep comin' every week.

Please remember that this batch won't be here to our place until Tuesday and will most likely be shipped to you on Wed or Thurs.
THANKS :)
Lisa

I'm feelin' it for felt!!!

New Felting Classes!

Okay, so the title of this post is a little lame...but let me tell you, these two new classes from Gail Crossman Moore are awesome!!

I have spent quite some time with these classes as I watched, edited, re watched and finalized the video. I am hooked on this technique!

Gail makes this interesting fiber art very approachable and easy to learn in these videos.
If you haven't had any experience with felting, you may want to check out Gail's free Felted Beads class.

These new projects are a perfect way to make someone a one-of-a-kind holiday gift. They are not terribly time-consuming, simple to create and you can be sure that your hand-crafted gift is unique and thoughtful. The optional kit has everything that you need to complete the project.

No prior fiber experience is necessary, this is a good project for all levels!

Enjoy!!
