3 New Classes are Up!!!!

For your viewing pleasure...2 new free classes Annealing Metal and Sawing Metal. Both by yours truly, me! (That would be Kate.)

And I know that you have been waiting (and waiting, and waiting) for Kriss Silva's new Twisted, Knotted and Fused Ring class. It's up and running and ready for viewing.

We will launch a few more classes in the next couple of weeks...Look for Gail Crossman Moore's Felting classes and Iris Sandkühler's sequel to her Unsupported Viking Knit, Viking Knit 2 "The Cage."

Answers to some new stamp set questions....

I have had a few great questions lately that I thought I would answer here;

1) Are you going to be making other font sets?
YES! I have just sent my next font to my manufacturer. It's a lowercase basic gothic font to match the upper case sets that are widely produced. I did not draw this font, it is one which I have permission (from the font foundry who created it) to reproduce in this way. It is very simple and basic gothic like. I will post a pic of that font soon. Hopefully you will start to see these sets in a month or so.
And, in the new year, I will start designing the Kismet upper case set to match the lowercase set. This takes a lot of time and design work so I really have no prediction when this will be done.

2)Are you going to make a number set to go with the Kismet set?
Another great question. The reason I didn't make my Kismet complete with letters and numbers is because it drove the retail price well over $200 and the feedback I get is folks don't use the numbers too much. Now that I have had requests to buy the numbers separately, I have asked my manufacturer to give me a quote and then I will post it here looking for feedback on how many people would want to buy just a number set. I will keep ya posted.

When is the next batch of Lower Case Stamp Sets coming in?

Well, we just put 44 sets up for sale, but they sold out in 36 minutes. They were shipped to us today and will most likely arrive on Monday or Tuesday. My supplier has told me that the next batch won't be sent out until the week after Thanksgiving. They are going to try their hardest to ship more than 45 sets. They make them in batches and typically their machines can't hold more than 45 sets so they just send them as they make them. As soon as I have a firm date for the next shipment, I will post here. I know some of you are super excited to get a set, so hang in there, we will get batches every week (except Thanksgiving week).

Ok, they have shipped us only 43 more lower case stamp sets. They will be in on Tues or Wed I am going to put them up for sale in an hour or so. PLEASE NOTE, if you order a set and other goodies, your whole order will not go out until we get the sets in on Tues or Wed. And just a wee heads up, we will be having a blanks sale next week (starting on Wed) and we will not be able to add to or hold any orders placed between now and then.

To date, we have 303 folks on the Product Notification List so obviously you all aren't going to get one. But they will continue to come every few weeks in batches of 40-50. They are cranking them out as fast as they can!!! :)

Dance Party

We have had a busy couple of weeks. We had a successful weekend at the BABE Show in Oakland, we are all caught up on shipping and the response to our new Stamp Sets has been overwhelming. So we decided to take a break and DANCE....this is our Web Designer, Director of Education, Shipping Manager and the me the boss lady...and the guy, that is our beloved UPS man :)

WOW...sold out, but more coming...

We are away at a show and didn't have time to post the stamp sets until 9:00 last night (they arrived at our office late afternoon but Kate and I are the ones who enter new products and we were busy teaching in Oakland California all day). By 7:00AM, all 50 we GONE! WOW, you guys are FAST. The next 50 sets are "in the oven" right now and as soon as they can get those babies out and alphabetized and in their boxes, they will ship them. I will contact them on Monday to see exactly when that will be.

As soon as I get notification that they have shipped, I will add them to the Shoppe and make them available to be purchased....no preorders...sorry. Just make sure you are on the Product Notification list for these sets. To do that, go to the product page, click here, and click on the "notify me" image in the top left of the navigation bar.

I know you are anxious, this is the best that we can do :)

stamp set update....

We just found out the sets won't be here until tomorrow (Thurs.). After that we need to inventory them. We will most likely be posting them either Thurs night or Friday night. Sorry, we are not taking pro-orders.... we need to physically have them here and inventory before I am comfortable taking your money!

Lowercase Letter Stamp Set, on their way.....

We got our sample stamp set today!!!! These stamps are soooo nice. The quality is really amazing, we are quite pleased! We have 60 sets coming to us this week. We will have them available to purchase sometime in the next few days. Please be patient....just check your email for a newsletter announcing their availability, or just keep checking this product category, they will be listed there soon!

note...the size on these babies is technically 3/32nd (2.4mm) but that refers to the long and tall letters. The majority of the letters (like the a, e, c, m, n etc) are 2mm tall.
